Teaching the Ghazal

David Jalajel's essay on the history of the ghazal is cited in an article on teaching the ghazal. The article is in the Spring 2010 issue of Teachers & Writers Collaborative. The article itself is available in PDF; since the link on the page takes a little searching to find, I've linked the article here. It has a good over-view of the ghazal form and the ghazal in English. If you're teaching poetry, you may find it useful.
